Enemies Of The Heart: Guilt

With this new series, we take a week to discuss one of four enemies of the heart. Guilt is one that will stick with you and eat you alive if you don't address it and release it in a timely manner. The Bible is clear about what keeps our spiritual lives healthy and when we don't take care of our spiritual heart it will lead us to poor decision making and a life of regret. Jesus wants us to live life to the full and this week we talk about the first enemy and how to combat it. 

Hands & Feet: Imitating Christ's Humility

As we wrap up this series we end with the most important character trait needed for being the hands and feet of Jesus. Humility is one that many people struggle with because it goes against our human nature, but we are taught all throughout God's word that it is essential for being like Jesus.

That's just one example of the many game changers we have experienced in our lifetime. This week we dive into the game changer that is the Gospel. It's such a game changer that you should be changed by it and live it out as Jesus explains to us. It's different and better than you think.

It took several weeks to get back from Florence, but here we are, our first week back at AMC theater. With everything that has happened, we decided to start a new series that is all about being the hands and feet of Jesus. The Church is the answer to the mess Florence left behind and to kick this week off we are reminded of an incredible life-changing story.

This week we have our youth leader, Patrick, share with us during our teaching time. He shares about one of the biggest obstacles we have in life, fear. Fear can be debilitating especially when we don't have a reason why to push on past it. Tune in this week as we dive into God's word and learn how we should approach fear.

This week we take a look at another iconic movie of the 90's "The Trueman Show." This movie launches us into God's word for learning about our identity. All of us struggle to some degree of finding our identity in the wrong things. Tune in this week to learn from the Bible to who God says you are and how to finally feel at peace with your identity.

At The Movies- 90's Edition: Men In Black

This year for our "At The Movies" series we are going through 90's movies to use as a launch pad into God's word. Men in Black is a classic movie to start our series off with. It has a great mixture of action, sci-fi, and comedy with fantastic actors. The underlying theme of this film is one to glean some principals from. Tune in this week to learn how Christians are supposed to live in an opposing world.

We took all of our equipment and had our morning service at Hugh Macrae Park, and it was a perfect ending to this series. We strive to be God Chasing, Grace Shaped, Love Agents.
