Chain Reaction: Boldness

We have a guest speaker sharing with us this week for our teaching time. His name is Glen Crocker. He is a middle school teacher from Washington, NC and with a heart wanting everyone to give their lives to Jesus he comes ready to challenge us to be bold in our faith. 

Chain Reaction: The Lead Domino

For a chain reaction to occur there has to be a spark, starting point, or what we are calling the "Lead Domino." This piece is pinnacle to the rest of the chain because without it the other parts wouldn't do what they were placed there to do. You could probably name some lead dominoes that have led you to your job, significant other, school, etc. Jesus is calling all Christians to be the lead domino to others by discipling and sharing The Gospel with them. 

That's Gonna Leave A Mark: The Real Thing

Jesus offers the real thing. Not a fake substitute that will just get you by but truly what you have been looking for. Each of us are seeking for purpose or comfort in something. It's different for every person but Jesus came to earth, died, and rose from the grave by His own power to show us just how much He loves us. Not only that, but He wants you to know that to find the real meaning of life you have to learn the truth from Him. 

That's Gonna Leave A Mark: The Invitation

Jesus gives us all an invitation to follow Him. That invitation is to a life of joy and purpose in His will. It's not easy but it is simple and every bit of guidance we need is found in Him and the Bible. 

That's Gonna Leave A Mark: Wedding Day

There are many things in life that leave a mark on us whether we want them to or not. Jesus calls everyone of us into a life with Him that will change us for eternity. He gives us the option to follow Him and be a part of His mission or to live life according to what we want and desire. Living life the way Jesus desires is how we were created to live. Tune in this week to help course correct your life to follow Jesus and to find joy and purpose in Him.

Whether you use New Year's resolutions as a spark or not, we all have goals that we want to accomplish. With 2018 taking off we hit the ground running as a church with a goal driving us that is, creating space in our lives for God to move. It's easy to fill our lives with filler that will never bring the hope and joy that Jesus brings. If you have a hard time following Jesus or are unsure where to start, this week is just for you.
