Dissecting Sunday: Why Even Attend Church?

Have you ever had the question, "why Sunday morning services"? Through this series we have been diving in to the elements of Sunday morning but this morning we dissect why we should be a part of Sunday morning regularly. We talk about the importance of community and the reason that the Church as a whole exists. This week is one of the most applicable talks of the series and we hope this brings you truth and life through the gospel of Jesus.

As we continue in this series of diving into why Sunday morning looks like it does, we talk about a topic that is close to the heart of God and that is generosity with our money. In the teaching time this morning we talk about why we have an offering, where the "tithe" comes from, and most importantly why our God wants us to give. Is it just bread and juice? Why is it important at Venture Church to share in communion every Sunday? What is communion really even for? Our hope through this "Dissecting Sunday" series is that we all see the value in why we do what we do in Sunday morning services. Communion was a core value for the early church in the Bible, so we do the same because it was valuble to them. Through this Dissecting Sunday series we have learned quite a bit about Sunday services and the value of the different elements. This week we dive into a topic that is very dear to God's heart, singing to Him. Praising and worshipping God is very important in our walk of faith. Christmas Eve Eve: The Light

Every year at Venture we celebrate the birth of Jesus with a unique service to glorify Him and teach. This year we had an interactive service that was a narrative of the story fo Jesus and how important His light is in our lives. Chris shares a snippet on how valuable light is in our lives and that Jesus is the only true light in this world.

Stand: Plans, Plans, Plans

As we wrap up this series we can't help but see that God had a plan to send Jesus to the world long before He came. We see a plethora of prophecies of Jesus coming to earth that are so detailed it will blow your mind.
