Every week at Venture we like to tear down the walls that have kept people away from Church. This week I hope you can find some confidence to know that God truly loves you and He offers rest and grace beyond what we can even imagine. The good news that God's son Jesus has come, died, and resurrected to life, "The Gospel," can be challenging at times to believe but we have evidence in the Bible and even outside of it to prove that God is real and He has done everything He said He did and wants to have a loving relationship with you.

It's Easter Sunday and what a great time to start a new series that truly depicts the love of God. There is sometimes this stereotype Christianity gets that God only loves the people who "have it all together" or the people who are "super spiritual," but the truth is God's love in unconditional, God is for the rest of us. We can't earn God's love or can we lose it. He loves us relentlessly and that's what the Easter story is about. He loved us so much He sent His son to die for us so that we could spend eternity with God. What a loving God. Tune in this week to hear the truth that God is for you and wants to bring you rest.

Acts- Be The Spark: Church Planting

This week we invite a guest speaker, Roger Burns, to bring a message that suits the end of the book of Acts very well. Acts ends with "The Church" multiplying by planting more and more local churches. Roger Burns has accepted the calling to plant a church in a local city of Jacksonville, NC. He is an excellent communicator and one who you can't help but notice he loves Jesus and wants to serve Him. Tune in this week to a powerful message where Roger shares his story and how impactful it can be for yours.

Acts- Part Eight: Testimony

Ending this series with a bang! "Acts: When God Sparks A Movement" has been a great time of learning and exploring the book of Acts for Venture Church. Learning about the early church and all the things they had to go through at the beginning, seeing the power of the Holy Spirit and reading the acts of the apostles has been very building for our faith. As you listen to this week we hope that you are left empowered to know that it just takes a spark to start a fire. Share God's story by sharing your story. The power of the words comes from His Spirit and He will change lives, just be obedient. We hope you enjoy this week in capping this 8 week series.
